MTFTP is a FTP sending program that can transmit files of a certain type to a remote FTP server.  This is only to send files of a certain file type to a remote FTP server.  This is used when you need to send files to a remote server that is not running the ChartNet remote server.

 

MTFTP DATA FIELDS TAB (CAN BE CONFIGURED ON HOST OR REMOTE SERVER)

 

 HOST ADDRESS: IP or domain name of the FTP host server

 

FTP LOGIN NAME: The FTP login user account

 

FTP login password: FTP login password

 

FTP port#: FTP port number.

 

Use passive mode: Use FTP passive mode.

 

NON-SSL: Use non-SSL connection to Remote Server.  You want to set this to N to force an SSL connection.  Otherwise, it will negotiate a communication method with the host server.

 

SEND LOCAL PATH: Path on the local server where the files are located.

 

SEND REMOTE PATH: Remote path (relative to the FTP home directory)

 

SEND FILE MASK: File mask (extension) of the files to be sent, i.e., *.RTF or *.WAV

 

ZIP THE FILES TO SEND: Zip up the files to send.

 

FILE AGE: When sending files, wait this many seconds before sending files.
