The following format codes can be specified in piece 5 of the mapping entry line for an inbound ADT, SCH, or ORM interface.

 

DOCNAME – Last Title, First M

 

DATE – MM/DD/YYYY

 

YYYMMDD – YYYY/MM/DD

 

TIME – HH:MM:SS

 

NAME – Last Jr, First M

 

REPLACE – Value Lookup replace with Extra1

 

RIGHT-XX – Get the Right XX characters

 

LEFT-XX – Get the Left XX characters

 

ZEROFILL-XX – Fill the left with 0 characters to make the total length of the value XX characters

 

SENDAUTH=[Code];[APiece];[Facility] - Logic to handle ADT feeds that have repeating segments                inside a Field, such as multiple MRN's inside PID,3.

 

SSN – Adds “–“ to the value so it is in the format XXX-XX-XXXX

 

STRIP=[chars] – Removes the [chars] from the value
