Sub-section titles are created with the shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+N. Follow the steps below to create a new sub-section title when transcribing or editing with the M*Modal Editor.


 

Steps to Create a Sub-Section Title in the M*Modal Editor

 

1.Place your cursor on a new line and use the shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+N to create an empty sub-section title. Type the correct sub-section title and press ENTER to type the content of the sub-section.

2.Alternatively, you may type the sub-section title anywhere in your document, then select the sub-section title and use the shortcut . Note that the sub-section will appear on a new line and any text to the right of it will automatically position beneath the sub-section title.

Type then select the title and use CTRL+SHIFT+N to turn the normal text into a sub-section title

 

 

3.If a sub-section title appears as normal text in a draft document, select it using CTRL+SHIFT+ARROW key. Once selected, use the shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+N to turn the normal text into a section title.
