The ChartNet Client Console has relatively modest system requirements. The following lists contains the preferred minimum system configuration for machines on which the ChartNet Client Console will be installed.

 

•1.5 GHz (or higher) CPU

•2 GB Memory

•5 GB Free disk space

•1024 x 768 minimum video resolution

•High Speed Internet Minimum 1.5 Mbps Down, 512 Kbps Up

•USB foot pedal (optional) NOTE:  ChartNet is NOT compatible with Game Port or VP-1 foot pedals

•Sound card (for audio playback)

•Headset (optional, for audio playback)

•Current Microsoft Windows Operating System versions including: Vista, 7, 8, and 10.

 

Important notes for Windows Vista or 7 - Before installing ChartNet on Windows Vista or Windows 7, you must turn off 'user account control.' Click here to learn how.

 

 

Important notes for Windows 8 or 10 - The first time you launch the ChartNet Client, right click on the icon and choose "Run As Administrator." When ChartNet Launches it will register 3 integrated applications.  This will be the only time you need to choose this option.
