Navigation:  Technicial References > Server Setup > Setting Up an Application Server > Add Icons to Desktop

The Application Server will need a ChartNet folder on the desktop that contains a few icons for running common ChartNet programs.

 

1.Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the ChartNet \bin folder

2.Run MTSETUP.EXE

3.Select "Install Desktop Icons" from the drop-down list

4.Check the following programs to add to the "ChartNet Folder":

a.ChartNet Client

b.Log Viewer

c.Search

d.Software Updates

e.INI File Manager

f.Service Controller

g.System Utilities

h.Active Users

i.Command Prompt

5.At the bottom, check "ChartNet Folder"

6.Click OK

7.A folder called "ChartNet 4" should appear on the Desktop. If not, right click and select "Refresh".

8.Check the following programs to add to the "Startup Folder"

9.Service Controller

10.At the bottom, check "Startup Folder"

11.Click OK

12.The "Service Controller" should be in the Startup Folder
