CREATE BATCH QUEUE DEVICE
From Device menu click New. Select No on the WIzard.
On the Main Tab enter a device code (BATCH), batch description. The Device Type will be set to Outbound Interface File. The Output Location will be Host. Also, check the box 'This device will change the report's status to 'Delivered.''
On the Interface tab, enter BATCHQUEUE for the Interface Type. Enter the site code. From the selection menu select the batch control record created in step 1. Check the boxes to include headers and footers.
CREATE DISTRIBUTION DEVICE
The distribution device can be WPPRINT, RTF, WORD, or PDF.
When a WPPRINT device is used, all documents in that batch open up as a single PDF document and the user can print from that. Do not use double sided printing with WPPRINT.
From devices click new. Select No on the Wizard.
On the Main tab enter a device code, i.e., WPPRINT if you want the documents to print, and description. For Device Type select Outbound Interface File. For Output Location select Client.
On the Interface tab for Interface Type select WPPRINT, RTF, WORD or PDF. Check the boxes to Include form's page headers and footers. If RTF, WORD or PDF is used, select a File Name Format and enter the appropriate extension - RTF, DOC or PDF.
