The "chartnet_apps" local account is used by various ChartNet programs to access server and network resources. It must be created on each machine that will be running ChartNet applications at the host facility. Before creating chartnet_apps, add a default printer (HP4).

1.Bring up a DOS command window

2.Navigate to the \BIN folder of Chartnet

3.Type: Add_Chartnet_Apps

4.This will run a short batch file to create the 'chartnet_apps' account.

5.Verify that the chartnet_apps was added to the local computer and make sure the password is set to "never expire"
