Filesize Mismatch (when downloading files)

1.Check to see if an anti-virus scanning program is running, either on the local machine, or on a firewall, that is blocking the file being downloaded because it thinks that the file contains a virus. May have to temporarily disable the anti-virus software. SonicWall firewalls are known for this. If SonicWall is being used, they can add the download URL to the exclusion list.

2.The OS is Vista and "User Account Controls" is enabled. Go into Control Panel and disable User Account Controls.

3.See if the network is using a firewall that does "content management".

4.See if the AVG anti-virus program is running. Try shutting it down.

5.If error persists after turning off UAC, you may need to restart the computer for the new setting to take effect. This is especially true for Windows 7.
