The following describes the steps to download and install the ChartNet software on a Database Server

 

1.Browse to www.ChartNetTech.com

2.Select "Log In." Use the log in and password supplied to you by ChartNet Technologies

3.Select "ChartNet Web Installer (5.5)"

4.Select "Run" or "Open"

5.The application will run

6.For "Download From", enter "http://server2.hudson-medical.com/installs"

7.For "Version", enter "4.10"

8.For "Build", enter "BETA"

9.Click on "New Installation"

10.For "Installation Type", select "ChartNet Host Server Install"

11.For "Password", enter the password provided you by HMS

12.For "Installation Directory", use the default, unless you want the software placed on a different drive or different folder.

13.Click "OK"

14.The program should begin downloading approximately 300 files.

15.After all files have downloaded, the final setup program (mtsetup.exe) will run.

16.You will be prompted for the "License file". Browse to the folder where you downloaded the license.dat file that HMS provided you.

17.You will be prompted to edit the ADS.INI file. See the topic "ADS.INI file"

18.You will be prompted to select which program icons should be created in the 'ChartNet" desktop folder.

19.The "Database Check" program will run. This program (MTSTRUCT.EXE) will initialize all the required system files.
