MPI mapping is done in Pgm Config using the MTMPI program. The main tab displays all of the patient information that ChartNet can use received in the ADT message.  Most of the fields are self-explanatory.  Below is a description and examples for the extra fields:

 

EXTRA FIELD, 1 AND 2:  Used to capture patient information that is not a field in the MPI, but needs to be included in the report data.

 

EXTRA DOCTOR1 AND 2:  This can be mapped to provider that is not the admitting, attending or referring, but is needed in the report data screen.  This would require a custom field to populate the report data.
