A NULL device is used to mark a document complete without sending it to a physical distribution. This is useful if there are jobs in undelivered status that you want to mark delivered without distributing the report to the client.
To create a NULL device click System Setup, enter your site code and click on devices. Click New and then No at the Wizard prompt.
1.Enter a unique Device Code and Device Description.
2.The Device Type should be set to Null device.
3.The Printer and Outbound Interface File Location should always be set to Host.
4.Check the box, This device will change the report's status to "Delivered".
