Remove a Site from the System

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

This deletes the records from the Shared folder tables for that site. It does not delete the Sites\[site] folder or the Site tables (Reports, Doctor, etc...). That is a manual operation. Reason being is that the Shared tables can be rebuilt from the Sites data and it is easy to delete the Sites folder once you are done. There are several prompts to confirm the deletion of a Site from the system.

The following SHARED tables will be purged: REPINDEX, USERGP, USERS, SITES, FIELDS, WORKPOOL, WORKFLOW, FORMS, TEMPLATE, DEVICE, GENDICT, SCHEDULE, RATES, BATCHQUE.

It will not purge from STATS, STATSARCHIVE, VOICE, VOICEARCHIVE as these can already be set to purge through the system purge utility.

It will not purge the USERLOG. This is because this particular table is a record of the Users activity.

You will have to manually remove or edit the records in ALERTS, CALCULATIONS, VOICE IMPORT, PGM CONFIG, BATCH CONTROL, BATCH PRINT DEF. Reason for that is because those records could be shared for multiple Sites and can be difficult to distinguish a site specific only item.

When you click on the button, "Remove a Site from the System". this will be displayed:

mtutils_TableMaint_RemoveSite1

"This operation is non-reversible. You will be prompted 3 times to confirm you want to delete a SITE."

Then confirm the site number twice.

Finally, enter in the word DELETE.

When the process is finished, the system will display:
