Lists are created and removed in the M*Modal Editor with the shortcut CTRL+L. Like section titles, the user is unable to format lists. Formatting of lists is completed after the document is submitted and rendering occurs. The responsibility of the editor is to identify where lists occur, but not formatting or presentation. Lists always appear bulleted in the M*Modal Editor.

 

The appearance of lists after rendering will vary by account and worktype. An example of how lists may appear after rendering is shown below. Formatting of lists that occurs during rendering includes:

 

•Enumeration or Bullet Formatting

•Spacing between List Items and Paragraphs

•Indentation and Tabbing

 

In draft documents, lists will already be identified for you. Edit the draft document for accuracy of lists with the shortcut CTRL+L.
