The M*Modal Editor is used to transcribe documents for speaker profile training, as well as editing draft documents created by M*Modal's Speech Understanding technology.
The M*Modal Editor does not allow the user to format the document. Instead, all documents are sent through a rendering process after submission. Fonts, font size, spacing, etc., are applied in the rendering process. This mean the user is not responsible for the final presentation of documents transcribed or edited with the M*Modal Editor.
There are many tools and functions available in the M*Modal Editor that are not available in the ChartNet Editor. Some functions, like the Playback Highlighter, are only available when editing draft documents.
