SITE REVIEW

Review Documents is used by site users for documents on Site Review.  Site Review is a stop gap - documents will not distribute until they are reviewed by the site user.  Documents can be put on Site Review for missing patient demographics, blanks in the body of the document, or a discrepancy in the document.  Documents in any review queue or status will not distribute until they are reviewed.

PROVIDER REVIEW

Review Documents is also used for providers who are set up to review all documents that they dictated.  Provider Review can also be set up so that a provider reviews documents dictated by other providers, i.e., a resident or nurse practitioner.  The logic for the documents that the provider will review is set up under the Site User record in ChartNet.  Documents will not distribute until they are reviewed by the provider.
