This will let you know if a particular Data Table has a record that is locked. A Locked record can prevent some records from being updated. This can even occur when the system is looking up a record, such as a Form or a User.
NOTE: This will NOT clear the locked record. This is only an FYI to see if a table does have a locked record. If you do have a locked record and it does not clear on its own after a few minutes, CONTACT CHARTNET SUPPORT FOR ASSISTANCE IN CLEARING THE LOCK.
Click on "Set File Names"
Select the Advantage Database Table (.ADT) you want to check.
You can run this utility on multiple tables. Once you select a table, click on "Set File Names" again for each additional table you wish to check.
Once you have selected all the Advantage Data Tables (.ADT), Click on "Get Locks"
This will display which tables have a locked record.
In the above example, the CALCS table has no locks, but the FORMS table does have a record that is locked.
NOTE: For a locked record, the information displayed will vary depending on the type of locked record it is.
