The HL7 Communicator program (MTHL7) is responsible for:
1. Sending outbound HL7 message files to the customer's system
2. Receiving inbound HL7 messages from the customer's system
Configuration is done using the MTCONFIG program or via the "System Setup" option in the ChartNet Client application. One or more "Profiles" can be created with each profile specifying a single socket-to-socket interface (inbound or outbound)
The MTHL7 service will spawn a worker process (MTHL7PROC) for each interface that is configured.
