This topic describes the process of installing the ChartNet Remote Software.

1.Browse to www.ChartNetTech.com

2.Click on Log in. Enter the user name and password given to you by ChartNet Technologies.

3.Click on ChartNet Installer

4.Select Run or Open

5.The Installer application will download and run

6.In the URL field, enter http://downloads.chartnettech.com/installs

7.In the Version field, enter 6.00

8.In the Build field, enter your current ChartNet build

9.Click on New Installation

10.In the Type of Installation, select ChartNet Remote Server Install

11.In the Password field, enter the password supplied to you by ChartNet Technologies

12.Click OK

13.The Installer will start downloading the necessary files (approx. 45)

14.After the files download, the final setup program (mtsetup.exe) will run

15.You will be prompted to enter the URL to the host server. Example: https://mychartnet.com/chartnet

16.A folder icon will be added to the desktop called ChartNet

17.Open the ChartNet folder

18.Start up the Service Controller

19.Add the services required by this remote server by going to File | Service Control File

20.Click New to add a new service. Use the "File Wizard" to help you.

21.Some services require additional configuration. To configure the services, go to File | Program Configuration from the Service Controller application.
