LOOKUP TABLE NAME: The table that will be used to verify this fields value, or will be used for looking up a value. Your choices are, ADDRESS, DOCTORS, GENERIC (Value Lookup List ), MPI, ORDERS, SITES.
VALUE LOOKUP NAME: If the lookup table is GENERIC, specify the Value Lookup Name used for the lookup.
OVERRIDE INDEX NAME FOR SEARCH: Can be used to override the default index order (i.e. sort) used when doing lookups. This is an advanced feature, please contact ChartNet Tech support for assistance.
OPTIONAL FILTER EXPRESSION: An optional filter expression that will be used when doing lookups. For example, this can be used to only show ER physicians when doing a lookup on the DOCTORS table - (DEPARTMENT="ER")
ERROR MESSAGE IF FILTER FAILS: Specify an error message if the above filter does not find any records that match.
SHOW DESCRIPTION: If checked, will display the description of the entered code next to the field in the Report Data Screen. For example, if the lookup table is DOCTORS, then the doctor's name will appear next to the doctor's code.
ALLOW FREE TEXT: If checked, the user will be allowed to enter a value that may not appear in the lookup table without getting an error message. This is only used for Value Lookup List overrides.
AUTO POP-UP LOOKUP DIALOG IF FIELD BLANK: If checked, will automatically pop-up the lookup screen when the user moves to this field in the Report Data Screen and the field is blank.
AUTO-POPULATE THE NAME/ADDRESS FIELD (IF LOOKUP TABLE IS ADDRESS): If the lookup table is ADDRESS, then the name and address from the address file will automatically populate the NAMEADDR field on the Report Data Screen.
