Authors or dictators are set up as Providers, as they are generally linked to an imported voice file.
Providers can be imported or added individually. There are two formats that can be used to import providers. To use these formats, the provider data needs to be on an Excel spreadsheet saved as a comma delimited file (CSV). Provider1 and Provider2 formats are outlined below:
This format can be used to import doctors into the ChartNet Providers file.

The Field # on the above table represents the column (A, B, C, etc.) on your Excel spreadsheet
To import a provider list, in System Setup, put in the site number and select Providers. Under the File menu, select Import from Standard Format File.
Select the appropriate File Format (Provider1 or Provider2). For the Import File, browse to your saved .csv file. Click on Import.
