Navigation:  System Maintenance > Putting a User on an Override Version/Build

Sometimes it is necessary to put user(s) on a different version of ChartNet then the rest of the users. For example, if a new release of the Client Console comes out, you can put a few users on the new release to beta test it.  The following explains how to put a user on an "override build".

 

1.Go into System Setup

2.Click on Users

3.Locate the user to modify

4.Click on the "Login" tab

5.Enter in values for the "Remote Software Version"

6.Enter the "Version".  Example: 4.20

7.Enter the "Build". Example: 0912201500

8.F10 to Save

 

The next time the user logs in, they will automatically receive a software update putting them on the new version and build number.
