Work flow is an advanced system feature that allows custom workflow of documents based on several factors including document status, current review queues, logical expressions, site, etc.
ChartNet will process all rules based on matching criteria of the document, then follow the priority entered. If a workflow is for a specific site, that will override a general workflow. Once a rule is matched it will process that rule then exit. Multiple workflow rules are not processed. It will process them by site first and then by priority with the lowest priority to highest.
All workflow rules are custom. Special workflow rules must be configured for each VR engine when processing documents for voice recognition. When there are no workflow rules, the system will send all transcribed documents through to distribution.
