MTFAX: This is the main fax scheduler. MTFAX handles requests coming in from MTSNDFAX clients installed on remote servers.
Server Name: Computer name running service controller containing MTFAX.
Run Mode: Automatic
KEEP DAYS FOR RECORDS: Number of days to keep fax detail for sent faxes.
CHECK INTERVAL FOR NEW FAXES (secs): How often MTFAX will check for new documents to fax. Default is 30 seconds.
NUMBER OF REPORTS PER BATCH: Number of documents to be sent during one fax connection if multiple reports are waiting to be faxed for a single address record. This can be overridden in the address configuration.
MAX ATTEMPTS #1: Maximum number of attempts to try a fax before switching to retry interval #2 and max attempts #2.
RETRY INTERVAL #1 (secs): Number of seconds to wait to retry a fax record with an error while number of tries is < Max attempt #1.
MAX ATTEMPTS #2: Maximum number of attempts to try a fax before changing the status to failed.
RETRY INTERVAL #2 (secs): Number of seconds to wait to retry a fax record with an error while number of tries is < Max attempt #2.
RESET FAX ERRORS AT STARTUP: At program startup, reset all counters for faxes in ERROR status. Note: This does not reset faxes in FAILED status.
DENY SERVER ID LIST: Deny all fax requests from remote servers listed here. The server names will be separated by commas.
PREFERRED SERVER ID LIST: This is an advanced feature used when there are multiple servers faxing for multiple sites. Please contact ChartNet support for assistance with this feature.
