ENABLE VOICE RECOGNITION FOR THIS SITE: If selected, this will make the site VR active. NOTE: Voice Recognition must be set up at the Site, Form, and Provider areas.
VOICE RECOGNITION VENDOR CODE: Select the VR Vendor from the drop down box.
MANUALLY TRANSCRIBE JOB IF WITHIN ___ HOURS OF THE JOB'S DUE DATE AND JOB NOT BACK FROM VOICE REC: Defining the number of hours before a document is due in this field would pull the job back from VR to be manually transcribed. This would be utilized if the VR system is unable to process files.
AFTER PROVIDER IS TRAINED, SET THE PROVIDER'S VR ACTIVE TO FALSE SO THAT YOU MUST MANUALLY ENABLE THEM FOR PRODUCTION: If this flag is set, upon voice import, the system will clear the VR Active flag in the Provider's profile once trained. Further processing of jobs through the voice recognition engine will stop until this flag is removed and manually reactivated the VR flag for the provider. This is used to keep training providers, but not receiving draft reports until this flag is turned off.
OPTIONAL FILTER EXPRESSION: A filter can be written that would define which jobs will go to VR, for example, if you only want discharge summaries to go to VR except for one provider, the expression would be (FORM_TYPE=XX) and (DOCTOR<>XXXX) where XX is the form type code for discharge summaries and XXXX is the provider code.
DEFAULT REPORT TYPE FOR VOICE JOBS THAT HAVE NO REPORT TYPE ASSIGNED: Select the appropriate form type from the drop down box. This option would be used if voice files were coming in with no work type, i.e., from a hand held recorder. VR processing requires a report type in order to process jobs. If the system receives a voice job without a work type or report type code, you can define the report type here so that jobs will process through voice recognition.
OVERRIDE CUSTOMER EXTERNAL ID: If CONCORD is the VR vendor, ChartNet Technologies will provide you with a code that will be entered here. This is also an advance feature that is also used for MModal VR. Please contact ChartNet support.
NUMBER OF SPACES AFTER A PERIOD: If it is not 2, define that number here. NOTE: This is only used if there should only be one space after a period instead of two.
